Rebased the release docs draft onto master and dropped everything master already covers, so the two do not say the same thing twice. Removed as duplicated: the YAML-only configuration warning and the Node.js version prerequisite, which master documents more precisely and for both lines; the assetFolder option, now in the web configuration table; and the changes to node-api, plugin-storage and programmatically, three files master has since moved to the /dev reference or deleted. Kept what was genuinely new: the package manager compatibility matrix, the local Helm example for 7, the ESM plugin loading note, the unpublish notification note, and the scoped-registry and release-age guidance for npm, pnpm and Yarn. Where master's text was richer the master version won, except for one fact worth keeping — npm 12 removed npm adduser — and the scoped yarn npm login example. The breaking changes leave this post. They now live in the migration guide, which covers each one with the error it produces and what to do, and this post links there with a three-line summary of what actually bites: storage is untouched, tokens keep working but an .npmrc using _auth does not, and a secret that is not 32 characters blocks startup. The technical notes section went with them: it repeated the configuration reference, the Express 5 guidance and the logger move, and its claim that server.dotfiles defaults to deny was wrong — the default is ignore.
The release post hardcoded an npm command, which reads as if npm were the only option. remark-plugin-npm2yarn was already a dependency and already wired into the docs, but not into the blog, so a `npm2yarn` fence in a post would have rendered as a plain npm-only block. Enables it for the blog as well. Both are also configured with `converters: ['yarn', 'pnpm']`, since the plugin only emits a Yarn tab by default and pnpm is worth having. The docs side is inert until a page opts in with a `npm2yarn` fence; the install page still spells the three commands out by hand and could use this too. Verified in the built HTML: three tabs, with `yarn global add verdaccio@7` and `pnpm add -g verdaccio@7` generated from the npm command.
Inserted in alphabetical order, linked to the GitHub profile like the rest. All six handles verified against the GitHub API so none of the profile links is a dead end.
