Nailed It is an application to solve your nail polish problems. Have you ever struggled to choose a nail polish color? Have you ever questioned your nail polish choice after it's too late? Have you ever just wished that you could see it on your nails before you commit? Ever fallen in love with a color, but not known the name? Have you ever seen a really great color out in the wild, and wondered if there was a nail polish color similar to it? Nailed It is the app you've been waiting for. From Sky Blue's to Dreamy Pinks, Nailed It will allow you to not only find a nail salon near you, but to also try on the latest polish trends to share with friends.
Core user stories:
- User can use a color drop tool to select a color.
- User can edit the color name before saving color to polish library
- User can see confirmation that color successfully saved to polish library (green success banner)
- User can take a still picture of their hand and apply selected
nail polish color to nails.
- selection nail polish area uses "quick" selection to assist
- user can keep picking new colors and seeing them applied to same image
- picture of hand ready to apply colors to is saved across app starts so you don't have to reselect your nails if you don't want to
- User can scroll through nail polish library and pick a color to
apply to nails.
- user can tap on a polish library color to share the color with friends
- user can top on a polish library color to apply to picture of hands in Try It On screen
- User can browse nearby nail polish salons based on their current
location
- user can view salons in a list
- user can view salons in a map
Nice-to-have user stories:
- User will see additional suggested colors that are similar to the
one they selected
- user can see different brands in order of cheaper names to more expensive brands (very useful hehe)
- User can hit long press on the image of their hand from the Try It On screen to share the given polish color ontop of their nails!
- User can take a picture of a piece of clothing to determine a good matching nail color.
- User can select a color from the library, and choose to search for it on Amazon to purchase.
