Lead Customer Success Engineer @ Dynatrace Β· Bengaluru, India
Dropped out. Never stopped building.
I sit at the intersection of deep Dynatrace technical work and the engineers who have to make it actually work in production. That means I've seen enough outages, scaling failures, and "why is this behaving like that" moments to have strong opinions about observability β and how most teams are still doing it wrong.
I'm not a researcher. I'm someone who writes code at 11pm because a customer problem won't leave my head, and then turns that into something reusable.
@theharithsa/cli β OpenEnablement CLI
Generates Dynatrace in-app training labs from Markdown, published via GitHub Copilot SDK to npm. The idea started as an internal tool. It got bigger than expected.
A fintech side project I'm co-building with my cousin. Personal finance, built the way we actually wanted to use it.
22-session program co-delivered with colleagues β covering MCP, observability, and making Dynatrace actually land for Indian customers and partners. Not a webinar series. A proper curriculum.
- OpenTelemetry β instrumentation, OTLP pipelines,
cumulativetodeltaquirks, CrewAI telemetry - MCP Server + Dynatrace β I've run sessions on this, written about it, and built integrations
- DQL + Grail β querying Dynatrace's data lake, building dashboards and notebooks that don't suck
- Gen2 β Gen3 migration patterns β Smartscape, Davis AI, OpenPipeline, and what actually changed
- OTel + Dynatrace together β because the "vs" framing is the wrong question
I use 7 laws to make decisions β Pareto, Compounding, Falkland's, Wilson's, Kidlin's, Murphy's, and Familiarity. They sound like productivity-bro content until you realise they're just compression for hard-won patterns.
I adopted the DFQ mindset in early 2026. It's exactly what it sounds like.
- Published on the Dynatrace Open Ecosystem Forum
- Active in Dynatrace DevRel Spotlight Advanced Program
- Writing on theharithsa.com β mostly technical, occasionally personal
- Co-organized DUG sessions on Davis CoPilot, MCP Managed, and MCP SaaS
TypeScript / Node.js β always full files, no pseudo-code
Dynatrace + OTel β my daily material
DQL β my query language of choice
Notion (via MCP) β yes, I automate my own task management
GitHub Copilot SDK β how OpenEnablement CLI gets published
I'm interested in:
- Open source tools in the observability / OTel / Dynatrace space
- Anything that makes onboarding to complex platforms less painful
- Fintech ideas that are actually useful to regular people
Open to conversations that start with a repo link or a problem statement.
Not interested in conversations that start with "quick synergy call?"
Two dogs. One PS5 Pro. Zero regrets about dropping out.
