Reason for change

Monthly community update for July 2026 was requested, with explicit callouts for the step-challenge app and new contributors.

Note: the issue listed the date range as 2026-06-01 to 2026-06-31 (an invalid date, and last month's window). Since the report month is July 2026 and June is already covered by an existing post, data was gathered for 2026-07-01..2026-07-31. Flagging in case June was actually intended.

Run the blog locally and confirm the post renders and links resolve:

Spot-check that PR/issue numbers and usernames match the linked GitHub pages.

Done in 2e097d9. Removed the Releases section and all v0.60.0-rc1 references, moved the feature content under a single "Upcoming features" heading noting the work merged to main but is not yet in a published release, and dropped the "Deploying Radius applications from a repository" and "Radius in GitHub Copilot" sections. The intro paragraph was updated to match.

Rewrote the feature sections in fc3b9c5. All inline PR links are gone, and each feature now starts with what the concept is before saying what changed — for example, the preview section explains why --preview exists at all, the graph section explains what the application graph shows before listing the improvements, and the Recipes section defines Recipes and Recipe packs before covering the new packs. Contributor entries describe what each person's change does instead of pointing at PR numbers.
