The GitHub Action jobs moved back to macos-15-intel which should work around this issue. So I suggest closing this PR. I already closed the associated issue.

Sure. If needed, we can re-open when we upgrade the CI.

Upstream haven't been able to investigate yet, as it requires new OS (macOS 26 Tahoe) on old hardware (Intel), which understandably isn't readily available.

We're ready to upgrade the CI: #149991.

And we get the tkinter timeout there. I'll re-open this and the issue first.
