Security fixes are applied to the latest released version on the default branch. Pre-release and end-of-life versions are not supported.

Lumberjack currently supports Python 3.10 through 3.14. Supported operating systems are the platforms covered by the project's continuous-integration workflow.

Use GitHub's private vulnerability reporting feature for this repository, including a clear description, reproduction steps, affected versions, and any suggested mitigation. If private reporting is unavailable, contact the maintainers listed in the repository's CODEOWNERS file.

Reports are acknowledged within seven days. Confirmed vulnerabilities receive a fix and coordinated disclosure timeline based on severity and user impact.
