Summary

  • Add update-types: ["minor", "patch"] to the dev-dependencies group so a major dependency update (e.g. a future TypeScript major) is raised as its own pull request instead of blocking the grouped minor/patch update.
  • Add the same update-types restriction to the actions group for the same reason.

Why

Dependabot currently groups all development dependencies together regardless of update type. When one of them has a major version bump that cannot be taken yet, it drags every other mergeable patch/minor update in the group down with it. Restricting the groups to minor/patch updates means majors are raised individually and reviewed on their own.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Both grouped-update blocks now exclude majors via update-types, so a
blocked major (like the TypeScript 7 major currently ignored below) no
longer drags mergeable minor/patch updates down with it.
