Product and engineering leader in Calgary. For most of the last decade my job has had the same shape: own the product and the technical strategy, and stay close enough to the code to know whether that strategy is honest.
Today I do that as a consultant at FractalShift, working with companies that have a lot of legacy code, a lot of institutional caution, and a real need to become AI-native (not "we bought some seats" AI-native). You'll find me in your board deck and in the pull requests.
Happy to talk about AI-native delivery, strangling a monolith you can't turn off, or what actually changes in engineering leadership when the code writes itself.
PureWeb (2012–2025) — Developer → Senior Architect → VP of Product Development. Built a cloud edge-orchestration platform for GPU streaming (Unreal Engine Pixel Streaming, Unity Render Streaming, WebRTC) on AWS and CoreWeave, with partnerships at NVIDIA, AWS, and Epic Games.
Owned product management, engineering, and platform operations for a fully remote SaaS company: roadmap and pricing through architecture review, uptime targets, and SOC 2 Type I and II, which I led personally. Also did the parts nobody puts in the job description: investor pitches, regulatory work, developer advocacy, and the hard customer calls.
