Currently we have a couple of components for fititng XPS data. It would be great to add support for XPS data. hyperspy/hyperspy#1014
Describe the context
We would have to add a new XPSSignal class and make sure that we handle the background correctly using the correct background.
Likely we would need someone with some example XPS data with some experience to make sure we are doing this correctly. This came up in the Hyperspy Diamond workshop.
