  • Installation of metalLB by creating a namespace

    1. kubectl create namespace metallb-system

    2. kubectl apply -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/metallb/metallb/v0.15.2/config/manifests/metallb-native.yaml

  • Install argoCD

    1. kubectl create namespace argocd

---

kind: L2Advertisement
metadata:
  name: default
  namespace: metallb-system

Accessing the argocd

ssh -L 8081:192.168.56.100:443 arcade@117.250.206.138

  • Get the Password of the argocd and then change it later

    kubectl -n argocd get secret argocd-initial-admin-secret \-o jsonpath="{.data.password}" | base64 -d && echo

  • Registering the Cluster by installing the argocd cli

Step1: cpy the Dev Kubeconfig file

    scp worker1@192.168.56.11:/etc/rancher/rke2/rke2.yaml ~/dev.yaml

Step2: cpy the prod Kubeconfig file

    scp worker2@192.168.56.12:/etc/rancher/rke2/rke2.yaml ~/prod.yaml

    Confirm with this

    kubectl --kubeconfig=/home/master/dev.yaml get nodes

Same way for the prod cluster

    scp worker2@192.168.56.12:/etc/rancher/rke2/rke2.yaml ~/prod.yaml

    Edit the API SERVER

    nano ~/prod.yaml

    REplcae the API SERVRE

    server: https://192.168.56.12:6443

    TEst it

    kubectl --kubeconfig=/home/master/prod.yaml get nodes

    Login To ARGOCD

    argocd login 192.168.56.100 --insecure

    master@mastervm:~$ argocd login 192.168.56.100 --insecure
    Username: admin
    Password:
    'admin:login' logged in successfully
    Context '192.168.56.100' updated
    master@mastervm:~$

Enter the password tht u changed after u logged in using UI

    Add the cluster

  • Dev cluster

argocd cluster add --kubeconfig /home/master/dev.yaml default

  • Prod cluster

argocd cluster add --kubeconfig /home/master/prod.yaml default

    List the clusters
