This pull request removes several unused or obsolete shell scripts from the
scriptsdirectory. These scripts were likely no longer needed or have been replaced by other tooling.Scripts removed:
scripts/dirnames.sh: Removed script for printing directory names from pathnames.scripts/install_solc.sh: Removed script for installing the Solidity compiler (solc) via apt.scripts/message_gen.sh: Removed script for generating Go code from protobuf definitions for messages.
