Summary

With serviceMonitor.enabled=true the chart renders a ServiceMonitor whose endpoint is port: metrics. The container declares that port (6060), but the Service only exposes http, so Prometheus finds no matching endpoint port and scrapes nothing.

Reproduce

$ helm template r charts/smart-contract-verifier-http --set serviceMonitor.enabled=true

The Service has a single port named http; the ServiceMonitor endpoint asks for metrics.

Changes

  • templates/service.yaml: add the metrics port (6060 -> container port metrics), using the existing metricsPort helper.
  • Chart version 0.1.4 -> 0.1.5, README regenerated with make docs.

The headless Service is left as it is, so the ServiceMonitor resolves the port on one Service only.

Testing

helm template now renders both ports on the Service and helm lint passes. Not tested against a running Prometheus. Note that the default config still has [metrics] enabled = false, so metrics also have to be turned on in config for the endpoint to answer.

…vice

The ServiceMonitor scrapes the port named metrics, and the container
declares it (6060), but the Service only exposed http, so the
ServiceMonitor matched no endpoint port and nothing was scraped.
