Ruby/Rails matrix covering Ruby 2.4–4.0 and Rails 5.1–8.1, with db:schema:load for test DB setup and retry for Selenium flaky failures.
- Replace deprecated poltergeist (PhantomJS) with selenium-webdriver + headless Chrome in spec_helper.rb and adhoq.gemspec - Relax capybara (>= 3.0) constraint for Selenium compatibility - Add puma and sass-rails as development dependencies - Fix async_execution spec timing: wait for navigation after click_on - Remove redundant Engine config queue_adapter setting in test helper
- config.cache_classes removed in Rails 7.2; use config.enable_reloading - config.action_dispatch.show_exceptions false → :none (Rails 7.1+) - config.active_support.deprecation → report_deprecations (Rails 7.1+) - require 'logger' in boot.rb for Rails 6.0/6.1 (logger gem shadows stdlib) - require 'ostruct' for Ruby 3.4+ (no longer auto-loaded)
- Pin font-awesome-sass to ~> 4.7 (5.x+ removed font-awesome-sprockets) - Fix SchemaMigration.table_name for Rails 7.1+ (class method removed; use respond_to? with hardcoded "schema_migrations" fallback)
- Relax factory_bot_rails to >= 4.11 for newer Ruby/Rails support - Fix FactoryBot path resolution for factory_bot_rails 6.x - Update simple_xlsx_reader matcher for 2.x+ lazy rows API - Fix EXPLAIN spec regex for SQLite 3.36+ output format (SCAN TABLE → SCAN)
- Add gemfiles for Rails 6.1, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2 - Pin sqlite3 ~> 1.4 for Rails < 7.1 (sqlite3 2.0+ incompatible) - Pin logger < 1.6 for Rails 6.0/6.1 - Pin factory_bot/factory_bot_rails for Ruby < 2.7 - Pin puma, loofah, sass-rails, simple_xlsx_reader for Ruby 2.4 - Add rackup ~> 1.0 for Rails 7.1 (Rack 3 compat) - Add ostruct gem for Rails 8.x (removed from Ruby 4.0 stdlib)
