Stefan's #13783 changes two files, not one: `dfx.json`'s backend remote id for `test_fe_1`, which is what a fe1 build embeds, and a `test_fe_1` key under `backend` in `canister_ids.json`, which is what dfx itself resolves when a deploy asks for the backend id on that network. I had only the first, so anything reading the id through dfx rather than through the vite build would still have found staging.
