A Druks UI page capped at 900px while every other app page in the dashboard fills the screen, and with no margin the column sat left with the slack piled on the right. Prose already carries its own measure and a form stops at 520px, so the page cap only starved the blocks that wanted room. A fact list now sizes to its facts, and the two blocks that draw rather than read grow with the page to a bound.

A Druks UI page was the narrowest surface in the dashboard.
.dui-pagecapped at 900px. Nothing else does:page-work-items,page-reviews,page-projects,page-runandpage-historyset no width atall, and the shell's own widest page,
page-usage, caps at 1400px and centreswith
margin: 0 auto..dui-pagehad no margin either, so the column sat leftand every spare pixel piled up on the right. On a wide display a table scrolled
inside
.dui-table-scrollwhile a thousand pixels of screen sat empty besideit.
The cap was earning nothing. Prose already carries its own measure —
.dui-textand
.dui-descriptionat 68ch,.dui-markdownat 58ch,.dui-calloutat 76ch— and
.dui-formstops at 520px. The page cap only starved the blocks thatwanted room.
What changed
.dui-pagesets padding and no width. A block that would otherwise onlystretch keeps a measure of 860px, which is the width it has today inside the
old cap: a chart's plot, a fact list's value column, a progress head. Those
look exactly as they did.
A table, an image gallery,
Columns, a timeline and a metric row now take thewidth they are given. An image gallery gains columns on a wide screen, because
its grid was already
auto-fill.How it is verified
npm run lint,npm test(229 tests) andnpm run buildpass.The layout itself is read from the cascade rather than rendered:
.dui-pagecarried the only width rule on the element, the three blocks that stretch now
carry their own, and every other bounded block already did. The preview pane
cannot render a page from this worktree, so a screenshot on a wide display is
worth taking before this merges.
