Why is this a false positive?

I’m affiliated with VosCast, an internet radio hosting service, and would like to request a false-positive review of cdn.voscast.com.

This hostname serves embedded radio players, station/song information, and playlist downloads used on broadcasters’ websites. Blocking the whole hostname prevents these listening features from loading.

A public example is the VosCast demo player:

The following public CDN endpoints returned HTTP 200 when checked:

• Winamp playlist download: https://cdn.voscast.com/resources/?key=68255eafaa578611e8562c6745e765e9&c=winamp

The key parameter selects the radio station whose player or information should be loaded. The playlist download points to the demo station’s audio stream. VosCast does not deliver advertisements. We do not use cdn.voscast.com for ad serving or advertising-network integrations; it provides radio playback, station metadata, and playlist functionality.

I confirmed the current ads.txt contains:
0.0.0.0 cdn.voscast.com

Please remove this entry from the root ads.txt and add cdn.voscast.com to config/exclusions/ads.txt so it is not re-added by automatic upstream updates. If a particular resource led to its advertising classification, please share that URL so we can investigate.

Impact description

For listeners using DNS filters that subscribe to this list, blocking cdn.voscast.com prevents the embedded radio player script from loading and blocks station/song information and playlist downloads. This can break listening features on customers’ websites even when the audio stream itself is hosted on another VosCast hostname. The public demo above provides a reproducible example of these dependencies.
