pixamp.xyz belongs to Pixamp (https://pixamp.io). We make "buy on Amazon" and retailer buttons that brands embed on their own shops. In production the domain serves one host, visits.pixamp.xyz: the button script brands add to their pages (https://visits.pixamp.xyz/js/pixamp-buttons.js) and the small API it calls to draw the buttons and count clicks. It does not host or distribute malware. A visitor only leaves the page when they click a button, and then they go to the retailer named on it.
Other sources we checked do not flag it: Google Safe Browsing, Quad9, Cloudflare 1.1.1.2 and 1.1.1.3, OpenDNS, AdGuard DNS, URLhaus, ThreatFox, CERT.pl and HaGeZi TIF.
If you can tell us which upstream source added it, we would like to get it corrected there as well.
Disclosure: I run Pixamp, so I am affiliated with the domain.
For anyone on a Pi-hole or AdGuard Home network that uses this list, the script never loads, so the shops that use us show empty spaces where the buy buttons should be.
