Ship the release/0.8 fixes in a Python release, or cherry-pick them to main #1197
Description
Problem. PyPI went 0.7.8 -> 0.7.9 -> 0.7.10 -> 0.7.11 from main only. release/0.8 (9a273a6, unchanged since 2026-10-12, 286 commits ahead of main) holds fixes for nine open issues, but its only tag (bench-v0.8.1, Python package 0.8.0.dev0) is not on PyPI. Users on a released benchflow still need a local workaround for each.

Ask
- Is a Python 0.8 release planned? If so, roughly when.
- If not soon: cherry-pick the commits above to main for 0.7.12 (bf6e841 is large; the others are small).
- Merge PR Bump claude-agent-acp pin to 0.81.0 for claude-opus-5-5 #1184 on main.
Workaround in use: FrontierPhysics-Infra carries a local patch for each of these; the list with line numbers is in our 2026-10-26 gap audit, happy to share it.
