Installation

From Source

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/ehdownloader-next.git
cd ehdownloader-next

# Install dependencies
pip install -r requirements.txt

# Run the program
python main.py

Pre-built Binaries

Download the latest release from the Releases page.

Usage

1. Run the program:

   python main.py

2. Follow the interactive prompts:

   • Enter the gallery URL (e.g., https://e-hentai.org/g/3579116/03a3621862/)
   • Enter the output directory (default: output)

3. The program will:

   • Fetch all page links from the gallery
   • Extract image URLs from each page
   • Download all images to the specified directory

Building from Source

Local Build

Install Nuitka and build:

pip install nuitka

# Windows
nuitka --standalone --onefile --windows-console-mode=force --windows-icon-from-ico=assets/icon.ico main.py

# Linux
nuitka --standalone --onefile main.py

# macOS
nuitka --standalone --onefile main.py

GitHub Actions

The project includes a GitHub Actions workflow that automatically builds binaries for all platforms when you push a tag:

git tag v1.0.0
git push origin v1.0.0

This will create a new release with binaries for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
