GTNH Questbook Releases

This repository is a questbook-only distribution mirror for GT New Horizons. It is not a fork and does not independently maintain the GTNH questbook source.

Official mirrored releases correspond to GTNH modpack releases. They are built from the actual ZIP artifacts published with those releases, so the questbook matches the version distributed to players, including release-time version stamping. Automatic mirroring starts with the latest GTNH release and follows new releases from that point forward; it does not backfill older releases.

Manual or preview releases may instead be generated from a development branch, tag, or commit in the upstream repository. Their release notes identify the exact source ref and resolved commit.

Installation

Download the attached GTNH-Questbook-*.zip from the desired release. Do not download GitHub's automatically generated Source Code archives.

1. Extract the downloaded ZIP anywhere.
2. Delete the existing <GTNH instance>/config/betterquesting folder.
3. Copy the extracted betterquesting folder into <GTNH instance>/config.
4. In-game, run /bq_admin default load to load the new questbook.

Deleting the old folder before extraction is important: otherwise files removed from a newer questbook release can remain behind.

Each archive contains the complete betterquesting/ folder at its root, including DefaultQuests, resources, configuration, documentation, and any files added there in future releases.
