I'm a BOT developer, and I often need to obtain the ID of a specific user, channel or group. Currently, I have to use an unofficial Telegram client for iOS just for this purpose, but I would prefer to use the official client, also for security reasons.
It would be very useful to have an option (perhaps hidden in the "secret" Debug menu) to display the profile ID in the "Profile Info" section, with the option to copy it via a long press, like this:
This should be available for users, channels, groups, and bots. The same feature is also available in Telegram Desktop via a hidden switch that enables it.
This is especially useful for retrieving the IDs of users who hide their identity when forwarding messages. In such cases you cannot, for example, forward their message to your BOT to retrieve their ID.
