Closing: this mirror's lockfile is also tracked upstream at mirrors/studies/yarn.lock, where the monorepo's own Dependabot already bumps it. Merging a bump on this side produces a second, independent regeneration of the same generated file, and Copybara's DIFF3 merge_import cannot reconcile the two — it emits conflict markers and the verify_match gate blocks the sync until someone resolves it by hand.

That is exactly what happened to the tealchart mirror today (postcss 8.5.22 upstream vs 8.5.26 here), which blocked tealchart mirror-to-mono entirely.

Dependabot security updates have now been disabled on this mirror. Dependency bumps should land in tealstreet-next and flow here through the sync.
