I fixed the docker issue #43 but I am not very keen to support devcontainer because I am not familiar with it |

A dev container makes it super easy to get started with a fully configured dev environment. https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/devcontainers/containers
PS: I can not get an image to build, neither through docke nor nix. I do not know anything about the rust ecosystem but I expect a Dockerfile to build successfully with only the source code. No commands should be required in preparation.
Can you help me please?
