  • Mid-month autobuild tags are pruned; 2026-08-16 now 404s on Linux/Windows
  • 2026-07-31 is the last retained tag that still ships n7.1 (n7.1.5-12)
  • SHA-256 updated for both assets, checked against BtbN checksums.sha256

AI Description

• Updates platform-specific asset names and verified SHA-256 checksums.
• Documents why month-end tags prevent CI failures from pruned BtbN releases.

High-Level Assessment

The month-end pin is the appropriate low-risk fix because it preserves the required FFmpeg n7.1 ABI while avoiding pruned mid-month and mutable rolling releases. Upgrading FFmpeg bindings or mirroring artifacts would add substantially broader maintenance scope without improving this immediate CI repair.
