Motivation
Linear: SDK-5125, SDK-5123.
Maintenance-branch releases must prepare from the same target branch used by later release steps. The existing
maininput default remains unchanged.Scope
Release workflow configuration only. Adapted from OneSignal/react-native-onesignal#1988.
Testing
vp test run: 179 tests pass; coverage thresholds pass.vp fmt --check .github/workflows/create-release-pr.yml: passes.vp checkreaches an unchanged baselineREADME.mdformatting failure; this PR does not modify that generated file.Checklist
