How can I deal with this problem?

It is telling you exactly where the problem happens. It is a salinity of 53, so why is that happening at that spot? Where is it with respect to the land masses? Are you forming massive amounts of ice there?

It has told you the location in both lat,lon space and in i,j space. You don't say how far into the run this is. Do you have any output yet? You can change the output frequency for debugging purposes. It looks like it is in a wide river flowing into the Arctic where there should probably be fresh water instead, at least in the summer. How much ice do you have there? One possible source of salinity is brine rejection from the ice model. Is that what is going on? Are the rivers working correctly? Do you have a closed body of water accidentally or is this a well-behaved grid you got from someone?
