@Eldrinn-Elantey can you provide more detail as to what was done in 8481305. It's almost impossible to review it due to over 3k image changes. |

@Eldrinn-Elantey this 7efcf37 breaks NEI in the current release of GTNH 2.8.4:
|
This commit is a bulk lossless PNG optimization pass - equivalent to what GTNH-Actions-Workflows optimize-images does automatically. The command used:
No visual changes were made. All 3k+ files are identical in appearance; only file size was reduced. |

Gotcha, but perhaps putting it into a 2.9.X release branch would be better so that when that release happens, we can push that change immediately when that drops. Currently the risk is that we do a release that potentially breaks textures for NEI the current version of GTNH. |
|
@ZombieChamp You now have the updated textures for NEI in GTNH 2.9. Feel free to use them as you see fit. |
|
@Ethryan any objection to the above suggestion? |
|
Not really, since this version will have to get ready for 2.9 anyway. We just have to title it as the 2.9 compatible version. |

The GT Custom materials are going to drive me insane. |

@Ethryan It doesn't look like darksteel ring has an "inner ring" on the new textures. It only has the hard edge feature like the other EnderIO rings.
Some do though like firely steel, hexanite, cosmic neutronium, or fluxed electrum for example.

Its the same with Draconium Dust and AD Dust, I’ve edited them to actually look more like the other dusts.
I still think the rings should be standardized and have a inner border in either case.
Just to keep them consistent.
They are annoying (and time consuming, for me at least) of the few I've done myself! I don't mind picking them up, but it will likely be after 2.9 release as I don't have the time currently. Taking a break until 2.9 currently. |
Yes, it takes me between 1-3 days to manage 1 custom material. I believe I will just finish the 2 materials I got half-done and then start preparing the pack for the 2.9 release. Going to bump the version to 2.2.0 since so much has changed between 2.8 and 2.9. |
