[Linux] [i3Bar] Tray icon is missing

Description

When using equibop, the tray icon does not appear. This prevents the user from accessing the context menu tied to the tray icon which restricts users from accessing important features of Equibop, for example repairing the installation or terminating the application

Actions Taken in Attempt to Fix the Issue

• Reinstall equibop (yay -Rs equibop-bin, yay -S equibop-bin)
• Disabling of all plugins

Additional Information

Equibop was installed via yay -S equibop-bin (aur package page)

Workaround

Using snixembed I was able to get the tray icon to reappear. This must be loaded before equibop so having snixembed launch on startup prior to equibop is advised

After speaking with Creationsss I was informed that "i3bar only supports XEmbed but libvesktop uses SNI" to which snixembed is able to proxy StatusNotifierItems (SNI) as XEmbedded systemtray-spec icons allowing for the equibop tray icon to reappear
