Determine wireless device name

iwctl device list

Get the IP address of the "target machine" on the local network, by running the command below, and looking for the line with the wireless device name from the previous step. It's private IP address should be displayed to the right of it.

ip addr show

Configuring SSH Access on Target Laptop

ssh-copy-id -i ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub drew@"${target_ip_address}"

Private Key Transfer Process

Export the private to target machine's keychain

gpg --export-secret-keys "${key_id}" | ssh drew@"${target_ip_address}" gpg --import

Trust the newly imported key on the target machine

gpg --edit-key "${key_id}" # when prompted, give trust level 5
