For long, literally everywhere, other apps were stupid adware micro-transaction barren pieces of actual garbage that made me want to rip my hair off. It's disgusting. There was this other egregious stupid app called Focusee that was laggy because of how many popups it had and kept shoving "gifts", "sales" and subscriptions in my face before i could even start recording anything. And then even after recording, more popups and ads showed up, and I couldn't really modify the video because it tried too hard to be another premiere pro competitor and I needed to pay for literally anything. Upon exporting, higher quality exporting also needed higher quality, and it left a huge watermark on my video anyways.

So really, thank you so much!

The only problem is that stupid Norton Keeps FREAKING blocking it so I can't even use it. And it doesn't seem to be letting me bypass it. I can't even taskkill it with admin because "Access is Denied".

Awesome work! Finally a screen studio alternative for Windows and Linux.

Feature requests:

1. Blur Tracking: Allows you to blur area which then adjusts automatically based on the position, scale, rotation.

2. Keystroke Visualizer: A Keystroke visualizer that will display keys pressed.

3. Presets: Ability to create and apply presets in the editor. Useful for instantly changing the style of your recording.

4. Screenshots & Annotations: Export screenshot and add annotations to it.

i think presets shouldn't be a good idea since this shouldn't try to replace a video editor, just add good smooth effects to a recording

By presets I mean the ability to quickly apply styles. Like I can have preset #1 where I want grey background, 5px corner radius, 175% zoom scale etc and Preset #2 for different settings.

Timeline-based "Region Crop" and Automatic Window Tracking

Description:
I would like to suggest two interconnected features to improve the post-recording workflow, especially for creating technical demos.

1. Timeline-based "Add Crop/Region" Feature
Currently, the "Crop Video" feature seems to apply globally to the entire video. I suggest transforming this into a segment-based feature on the timeline.

• How it works: Users can add a "Crop Segment" (similar to the current "Add Zoom" block) to specific parts of the timeline.
• Key differences from "Add Zoom":
  • Manual Precision: It allows for manual adjustment of the Focus Area/ROI (Region of Interest) without forced center-zooming.
  • No Interpolation: It should be a "Step" transition (no animation/movement), allowing for precise, instant focus on a specific area.
  • Foundation: This segment will serve as the container for the automated tracking data mentioned below.

2. Automatic Window Tracking & Auto-Focus
This feature would significantly reduce manual editing time by automating the focus area.

• Recording Phase: While recording, the app should monitor and log the metadata (X, Y coordinates, Width, Height, and Timestamp) of the active/focused window.
• Processing Phase: After recording, the app automatically generates "Crop Segments" on the timeline based on the logged window data.
• Result: The video will automatically "jump" its focus to whatever window the user was interacting with at that time, creating a seamless "Auto-Focus" effect without manual keyframing.

Why this is useful:
For users recording multi-window workflows (e.g., coding in an IDE and checking a browser), this eliminates the need to manually crop and zoom for every window switch, making the output professional with zero extra effort.

Im having an issue when i begin to record my screen. For some reason only can i record the fist 15 seconds after that the app turn off audio. Is like suddenly eliminate or mute the audio.

I've tried different configurations and microphones, and the problem persists. I'm thinking that perhaps when there's some interaction with the cursor, it breaks or cuts off the audio.
