MCP App [Interactive Views]

I would like to propose a feature that improves user interactivity in Tableau-mcp: MCP-based App with integrated UI widgets.

MCP Apps, an extension that was added to the MCP Protocol, has gained a lot of industry adoption lately. There are some large companies already offering MCP apps for their main products UI, e.g. Canva, Figma, Asana ... etc.

Personally, I would like Tableau-mcp to have interactive views, where the user click on that view filters, hover over a view to see tooltips and lots of other things.

We are on it @smoab! This is something we are actively working on. We don't have a committed release date, but keep and eye out and we will follow up when we're getting closer to a release. Stay tuned!
