Clarity 6 Preview

As of Clarinet v3.20.0, you can preview Clarity 6.

What's included

Updated:

• concat can now take more than 2 arguments

;; Clarity 6: flat, variadic call
(concat 0x11 amount-bytes fee-bytes chain-id)

Added functions:

• secp256k1-decompress?
• ed25519-verify
• get-bitcoin-tx-output?

Added allowances for restrict-assets?

How to test

By default, Clarinet targets the current mainnet epoch (3.4) and latest Clarity version (5). To opt in to Clarity 6, update your contract entry in Clarinet.toml:

Make sure you're on the latest releases:

• CLI: clarinet@3.20.0
• SDK: @stacks/clarinet-sdk@3.20.0
• VS Code extension: "Clarity - Stacks Labs" v3.20.0 (you may need to install this exact version manually)
