As the title implies, I'm thinking about making a python anaconda package for satkit, in addition to the already-existing pypi.

Status: in progress. The conda-forge submission is live at conda-forge/staged-recipes#33466 — a v1 recipe.yaml for satkit 0.21.2 (single package; no separate data package needed since 0.21 embeds the core data and lazily fetches the ephemeris). CI on the staged-recipes PR is green on all three platforms; it is awaiting a conda-forge reviewer. The recipe is also maintained in-repo at recipes/conda/satkit/recipe.yaml and bumped each release. This issue can close once the feedstock exists and conda install -c conda-forge satkit works.
