I'm Knut — a writer, creator, and developer who spends an unreasonable amount of time turning small everyday frustrations into things other people can actually use. Whether it's a piece of writing, a tool, or a project that started as a half-formed idea at midnight, the thread running through all of it is the same: I like making things that remove a little friction from the day.

A lot of what I build lives out in the open. The clearest example is elyra-conductor — a developer cockpit built with Tauri, Svelte, and Rust. It began as a personal itch and grew into something I share freely, in the hope that it spares others the same little paper cuts I got tired of.

Doing this in the open is still an evenings-and-weekends affair for me, squeezed in between work, family, and far too many half-finished side projects.
