Hi!
Partition type 0x1C is "Hidden Fat32". It would allow placing boot files etc. in a partition that would not show up in Windows, which is a desirable behavior for certain applications where another FAT32 partition is available for user settings.
Unfortunately the RPi 3 ROM does not seem to accept partition type 0x1C as a valid boot partition.
I understand devices in the field, and most likely all Raspberry Pi 3, cannot be updated.
But, for future ROM versions, can you please support 0x1C as a partition type?
Thanks
