Glad it went smoothly! Those rows come from the station_observations option, which works the same in 3.0. In weewx.conf under [StdReport] → [[Belchertown]] → [[[Extras]]]: station_observations = barometer, dewpoint, outHumidity, rainWithRainRate, rainBatteryStatus, windBatteryStatus, outTempBatteryStatus and the names under [[[Labels]]] → [[[[Generic]]]]: rainBatteryStatus = Rain Battery Use whatever observation names your Netatmo driver writes; your backup's weewx.conf or skin.conf should have the exact line. If the values come back without the "%", check your backup's user/extensions.py for lines putting those fields in group_percent and copy them over. Restart weewx and they'll be back after the next report run. Putting these in weewx.conf rather than skin.conf means future upgrades won't wipe them. |

Great – thanks Pat, I’ll take a look there.

Hi Pat – in my set up for some reason these were in skin.conf in 1.3.1
# Station Observations. Special observation rainWithRainRate combines Daily Rain with Rain Rate in 1 line
station_observations = "barometer", "dewpoint", "outHumidity", "rainWithRainRate", "rainBatteryStatus", "windBatteryStatus", "outTempBatteryStatus"

Almost there – missing the % as you say, I think I had to register them in the schema before or something to add them, I’ll do a but more digging – the backup extensions.py had no extra limes for putting fields in that group.

Ah, found it. You asked this back in 2024 (#912) and the fix was a few lines you added to belchertown.py: weewx.units.obs_group_dict['rainBatteryStatus'] = 'group_percent'
weewx.units.obs_group_dict['windBatteryStatus'] = 'group_percent'
weewx.units.obs_group_dict['outTempBatteryStatus'] = 'group_percent'The upgrade replaced belchertown.py so those got wiped. Put them at the bottom of user/extensions.py this time (with |

Great – thanks Pat – all sorted in extension.py as below.

Ah, found it. You asked this back in 2024 (#912<#912>) and the fix was a few lines you added to belchertown.py:
weewx.units.obs_group_dict['rainBatteryStatus'] = 'group_percent'
weewx.units.obs_group_dict['windBatteryStatus'] = 'group_percent'
weewx.units.obs_group_dict['outTempBatteryStatus'] = 'group_percent'
The upgrade replaced belchertown.py so those got wiped. Put them at the bottom of user/extensions.py this time (with import weewx.units above them if it's not there) and they'll survive future upgrades. Restart weewx and the % should come back.

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Just a note to says thanks for v3 - I updated from 1.3.1 and followed your instructions, I thought it had not worked but I just needed to be patient.
The updated site is here https://www.wiggytoo.co.uk/ and dashboard option is the closest to how I had it before.
The old site snapshot is here - https://web.archive.org/web/20261007021241/https://wiggytoo.co.uk/
I just need to add back the customisation for showing the battery percentages for the Netatmo devices (see screenshot) but other than that it looks great and I'll do a bit if exploring to try out the new features.
Once again - many thanks.
