Description

This notification when clicked on by the author will redirect to an unauthorized notification page.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Login with Editor Role
2. Navigate to a submission
3. Click on Create new version
4. Complete the new version form
5. In the participants list click the 3 dots and login as the Author
6. Select the notification bell
7. There should be a new notification with a link (see image below)
8. Select the link

• Note : It looks like it is trying to use the production endpoint URL before getting denied : https://91.99.202.113.sslip.io/ojs/main/index.php/publicknowledge/en/workflow/production/8 <-- example

Expected Result

Should redirect to the submission. I'm actually not sure what it should be doing I'm couldn't find any requirements for this.

Actual Result

No access page is shown after clicking the link

Hi @defstat , would you be able to check this? This one's related to creating new publication version - I thought you'd be most knowledgeable regarding this issue as we both worked on this for 3.5. Please let us know if there are any questions, thanks!

Hi @defstat , after taking a closer look, it looks like the issue is caused by an incorrectly built URL when sending the notification for a new version to authors. It works for editors because the URL is built correctly for them, but authors have a dedicated workflow URL, and that's not the one currently used in the notification.

This is the fix applied in the PRs linked above. Would you mind taking a look when you have a chance? Thanks!
