In the physics course, PC2130 Quantum Mechanics is a prerequisite for many subsequent courses. I am a student who has transferred from the Life Sciences Department to the Physics Department. I need to complete the subsequent courses as soon as possible so that I can get the opportunity to do an internship in the laboratory. However, I have to finish the quantum mechanics course first, which might cause me to graduate later.

I think it would be feasible to remove the prerequisites for some courses with less relevance, such as PC3235 Solid State Physics and PC2135 Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics. This is extremely crucial and important.
