We have two different types for ignored files

• a global one, found within "general" tab
• a per sync folder one, found in three dot menu

Global one should have a text above pattern, like:
This is global exclude list. It will be valid for all accounts and all sync folders.

Sync folder one should then have:
This is specific exclude list for folder "xyz". Global settings (found here [link]) are also applied.

I would love to have a git like support for ignore settings.
So have the option to create an .ncignore file in a sync folder that then contains relative folders that should be ignored.
That file could be then also synced via nextcloud, so that sync settings would be synchronized between clients.

Hi. I worked on this issue based on a recommendation from @camilasan (https://cloud.nextcloud.com/call/d8k2r6p6#message_5800659).
This is my first issue on Nextcloud. I updated the GUI for the global and specific ignore lists. I wanted to ask how the translations work.

we use Transifex for that: https://explore.transifex.com/nextcloud/
so as a developer what you just need to make sure to use tr() with a context for the translators, for example:
