The Standard Byzantine Music Font Layout maps Byzantine chant notation glyphs into the Basic Multilingual Plane Private Use Area and
reserves U+F000 through U+F8FF as free space for optional glyphs, including stylistic alternates. Fonts that claim SBMuFL
compatibility should encode the required glyphs in the standard locations, and optional encoded glyphs should also use their standard
optional-range codepoints.
