slow hot code deploy

Hi, I'm noticing sometimes the hotcode deploy is very slow. I have a very big project as well, that is a multiple module project too.

The other thing i notice, evern after the debugger is connected, i will see the applying code changes appear, even if i have not made any changes to the current file i have made.

Is there a way to white/black list certain files from triggering hot code deploys? Do i turn off auto hotcode deploy and manually run JdtUpdateHotCode. I'm not sure that will have the desired effect of quickly updating only the files as i write to them.
