Implementing own DBSCAN for clustering Spatial Data:
NYC Shooting Incidents

Abstract

The aim of this project is to examine data regarding the spatial distribution of crimes committed from 2006 to 2023 a year in the New York City, in the United States of America.

Implementation of the DBSCAN algorithm and comparison of the obtained results with the algorithm from the scikit-learn library.
