Beta: 1.19.0-beta.1The 1.19 feature preview is on the beta channel. Update with First-run welcome wizardA guided five-step setup greets new installs: add an account (one-click GNOME Online Accounts imports, or a manual IMAP form with provider presets and a live connection test), pick privacy settings, choose popular defaults. Beta builds have a "Welcome Wizard" entry in the burger menu so you can review it without touching your config. Split replies (#86)Requested by @yioannides. Reply, Reply All and Forward now slide a compact composer down from the top of the reading pane, with the conversation still visible and interactive below it, scrolled to the message you are answering. Pop it out to a window for the full address fields. Mail filters (#47)Requested by @mfreeman72. Accounts tab, Filters section: file incoming mail into folders automatically by sender, subject or recipients, per account, first match wins. Rules also apply to mail that arrived while Vireo was closed. Per-account push and special foldersThe account editor's Syncing section (per-account IMAP push, from #91 by @frenchy82) sits above the Special Folders mapping. Quick filters (#97) and search (#102)Requested by @Toxblh and @p-mitana. Unread-only and starred-only toggles sit beside the sort menu, and the list's search bar now hides behind a header button (Ctrl+F or / opens it; Esc closes). Find in message (#103)Requested by @p-mitana. Ctrl+F in the reader (or the toolbar button next to the star) searches the open message or conversation: yellow pill highlights, the current match solid, a live "N of M" counter and arrows. Hidden text is excluded and matches are walked in reading order. Console modeSettings, System & Appearance: a live verbose log console in the status bar (button, burger menu, or Ctrl+Shift+C), resizable, selectable, showing everything Vireo does under the hood, WebKit console output included. Also in this beta

Beta: 1.19.0-beta.2The beta can now be selected as the system default mail app, separately from the stable app. Its desktop entry registers the mailto handler, so after updating, GNOME Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Mail offers Vireo (beta) and mailto: links open in whichever channel you pick.
