My organisation (large hospitals) use Brother TD-2130N printers for printing barcode labels on patient blood samples, which the lab analysers scan and update the pathology system. They are solid on Ethernet and USB, but very flaky with the add-on wireless module. I've managed to blag one for printing asset tags. I had to get additional label from Amazon (https://amzn.eu/d/02y0MrxW) as the ones it ship with are just a touch too small for a full QR code and the text ends up wrapping. New labels seem a lot better. Cannot comment on durability as I'm literally just getting my Snipe install ready and importing all of my asset data so not yet used in anger. |

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’m looking for a label printer that works well with Snipe-IT.
I need to print labels that include a barcode, the user’s full name, asset tag, and serial number. We currently use a Brother QL-820NWBC, but the labels fade after about a year. The labels will mainly go on laptops, and we usually place a protective clear label over them.
Ideally, I would like something that supports durable or laminated labels, works easily with Snipe-IT label templates, and has Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is not a requirement, but it would be nice to have.
I’m looking for something that will stick well and not fade over time. Does anyone have any recommendations?
