Plans for DU and Option/Result

Hi, do you have plans to adjust Option, Result types to use DU of .NET 11?

Hi. Well, I can't say at the moment. .NET 11 is not LTS release, I'm upgrading .NEXT for LTS versions only. But I'm aware of DU. Currently, it has one major drawback - boxing, when union includes value types. This boxing is hidden, and undesired. To be honest, the following proposal looks much more promising: dotnet/csharplang#8613.
