Poolside Platform will remove their free tier on October 31st, 2026

Specifically not free tier, but also disappear

@hakergeniusz Thanks for the heads-up. What the screenshot says (I read it as an image): the banner on platform.poolside.ai reads that Poolside Platform inference will shut down on 31 October 2026, and that models can be downloaded from Hugging Face. I haven't checked their site beyond that.

In OmniRoute, poolside is a built-in provider (inference.poolside.ai) whose note says Laguna S 2.1 / XS 2.1 are free during Preview. If the shutdown is as the banner says, that provider and its free note will stop being useful after that date. Poolside models are also listed under other gateways (for example Kilo Gateway and Cline); I haven't verified whether those depend on Poolside's own inference, so I won't say they'll disappear. I'll track the provider note and catalog update in #17318.

Cline partially uses OpenRouter (some errors directly mentioned that BYOK key of Cline is rate-limited and openrouter fallbacks were not set), and OpenRouter also will deprecate all Poolside Inference models on 31st of October
