Still need to restart app to allow certain websites to load, v0.5.5u

Occasionally I still need to restart Rethink to allow websites to load when trusting domains. So far it's happened on at least 2 domains. I think there are still cases where trusting a domain will allow that website to load without having to restart Rethink.

I was under the impression that this was fixed in recent updates?

Also, even when Rethink is set to Auto-start on power-up, it won't.

Are you on Android 12+?

What do you see in the Network / DNS logs for those trusted domains (use the search bar to search for entries)?

In Configure -> Logs -> Network, failed/blocked outgoing connections usually have a 0 upload or 0 download or both. Or, marked with a red-coloured left-hand side border.

In Configure -> Logs -> DNS, failed outgoing queries have a ⚠️ marked in the left-hand side, while blocked queries have a red-coloured left-hand side border.

Occasionally I still need to restart Rethink to allow websites to load when trusting domains.

Note that, the OS / app may have cached DNS responses. Typically (though not necessarily), restarting a VPN app like Rethink will have both those caches (OS and app) flushed.
