Is it possible to get a stringData secret instead of a base64 data

The unsealed Secret that the controller creates will always use data (base64-encoded), not stringData. That's because stringData is a convenience field for creating secrets — Kubernetes itself converts it to data internally. The controller just creates a standard Secret with data.

If you need the plain-text values, you can decode them with:

kubectl get secret <name> -o jsonpath='{.data.<key>}' | base64 -d

There's no way to make the controller output stringData since that's not how Kubernetes stores secrets — it's always base64 in etcd regardless of how the Secret was created.
