Feature Prioritization Process in Apache Hop – How Can the Community Influence It?

Hi,

I have a question about feature prioritization.
Who decides which features get included in the next milestone? Are there specific criteria for this decision?
Additionally, how can the community participate in this process—are there ways to vote on features?

For example, I’d like to upvote the following feature to be included in Milestone 2.14: #2331

This feature has been open since 2023, and from a user’s perspective, it would be extremely helpful.

There's no formal process , the items that are worked on for a release are picked pretty organically.
In general, regressions and security issues get priority, but other than that, developers prioritize what they work on by (1) what they're paid for, (2) personal preference and (3) the rest.
