Currently the only plugin available to migrate things from is for Kettle. But you can always write a plugin to migrate Talend things to Apache Hop it will be a valuable contribution ;-) |

Hi,
Does anyone know how to migrate from current Talend to apacheHOP? It look like the hop-import.sh script had this capacity based on claudeAI answers but I cannot succeed to find the correct plugin for it ?
Apache Hop's import utility (hop-import.sh) traditionally supported several source systems for migration. While I don't have the complete documentation for the current version 2.12, here are the import plugins that were typically compatible with the hop-import.sh script in previous versions: Kettle/PDI (Pentaho Data Integration) - --source=kettle Talend - --source=talend Informatica - --source=informatica Microsoft SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) - --source=ssis ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) - --source=odi The basic syntax would typically be: hop-import.sh --source=<source_system> --target=<target_directory> [additional options] Each import plugin had specific requirements and capabilities. For example: The Kettle/PDI importer could handle transformations and jobs The Talend importer worked with Talend ETL jobs The Informatica importer could process Informatica PowerCenter workflows To verify which plugins are still available in version 2.12, you might need to: Check the plugins/imports directory in your Hop installation Run hop-import.sh --help to see if it displays the currently available options Review the official Apache Hop documentation for the current versionAll reactions
